Cornwall Pride CIO's Charitable Aims

"We bring people together in safe spaces. We do this through events, training, and community support, focusing on inclusion and connection.

We make “Love who you want to love, be who you want to be” a reality for thousands."

Cornwall Pride CIO exists to bring people together in safe, inclusive spaces. We do this through events, training, and community support that centre connection, visibility, and belonging for LGBTQ+ people across Cornwall.

Each year, our work supports and reaches thousands of people, helping to make equality, dignity, and freedom of expression a lived reality.

Cornwall Pride CIO is a registered charity (1191003), led by a dedicated team of trustees, community leaders, and subject matter experts committed to empowering Cornwall’s LGBTQ+ communities.

Through a programme of Pride events delivered across the Duchy, alongside our Safer Spaces initiative and training programmes, we work towards a hate-free Cornwall where everyone is free to live authentically.

We also collaborate with local LGBTQ+ groups and partners to deliver regular, accessible events that foster acceptance, inclusion, and connection. These events create welcoming environments where people can meet, build friendships, and celebrate who they are.
