Cornwall Pride Conference 2025
About The Day
This year’s Cornwall Pride Inclusion Conference is a day to pause, connect, and reflect on what visibility, safety, and belonging really mean, not just for LGBTQ+ people, but for anyone who’s ever felt on the margins.
It’s been a challenging year across the world, with growing division, rising hostility, and continued uncertainty around funding and stability here in Cornwall. Through all of that, the need for connection and collective action has never been clearer. This conference is about creating the space to talk honestly about those challenges, and to look at how, together, we can build a Cornwall where everyone feels seen, safe, and valued.
The day includes updates from Cornwall Pride, conversations around safety and trust in our communities, and space to explore how belonging isn’t something that can just be promised, it has to be built.
We’re proud to welcome artist and activist Paul Harfleet, founder of The Pansy Project, whose work transforms experiences of hate into living acts of beauty. His story, and the power of what he creates, sit right at the heart of this year’s theme, turning pain into pride and fear into belonging.
There’ll be time to listen, learn and share ideas, across public services, workplaces, and community spaces, about how we can each play our part in creating inclusion that lasts.
Lunch and refreshments provided.
