GWR

Great Western Railway is proud to support Cornwall Pride 2022.

This year we’re working with more Pride events across the GWR network than ever before.

As we modernise the fleet in one of the biggest upgrades in a generation, we believe it’s more important than ever before to support and celebrate the diverse communities we serve.

GWR Business Assurance Director Joe Graham said: “We’re proud to be supporting Cornwall Pride.

We are proud to be involved with Cornwall Pride. We are committed to making GWR a more inclusive organisation where people feel they can be themselves, and where our workforce is as diverse as the customers and communities we serve.

We’re making GWR more accessible for people from diverse backgrounds wanting to work with us by improving our recruitment process. We continue to support existing initiatives and groups such as Women In Rail, Prince’s Trust and Young Rail Professionals to joining organisations like Stonewall.

Our #trainbow train and adopting the Pride colours in our social media account logos has been embraced by our customers in demonstrating our values in equality and diversity in all we do and wherever serve.

We’re looking forward to Cornwall Pride and don’t forget to share your photographs, selfies and comments with us via the @GWRHelp twitter feed and using the #trainbow hashtag!

The fun continues at across Cornwall where GWR is supporting for more travel information, check out their website and Facebook.
