We Came Out For Cornwall Pride

We celebrated Pride month 2018 in a unique and exciting way!

Working with partners, sponsors and charities we held #ComeOutForCornwallPride which saw the Pride Crew and members of the LGBTQI community get together on an open top bus and take to the road.

In a groundbreaking event, working with First Kernow, we decorated the bus with everything rainbow and music galore!

It was an early start to the day by all, in what was to be a magnificent event taking in many major towns throughout Cornwall to bring Cornwall Pride closer to rural and urban communities to join together and celebrate the pride month of June with the message of being “proud to be you”.

We made our first stop in Wadebridge at 10:05 and having managed to keep to schedule we arrived back in Newquay at 21:55 seeing then end of such a huge, ground-breaking, amazing celebration of Pride and Cornwall working together.

Enjoying a partnership for the event with First Kernow, Eden Project, Stonewall, The Gay UK and many more we were greeted in every location with lots of people holding rainbow items, dressed to impress and got into the Pride spirit.

COME OUT FOR CORNWALL took place on Saturday 23rd June 2018

We don’t think we stopped laughing for the whole day and it was amazing to be greeted in every town by so many people.  It really proved that Cornwall truly is an accepting place to work, live and visit.

To see more pictures of our amazing day, Hayley Tigerfly Photography was on hand to take loads of pictures, and you can see them on Facebook.
